hey all, things are going well here, i just spent the last couple of days on day maintenance. we have been getting a lot of things done. we just had the change of command ceremony from the 108th to the 2/147th here and now we are on our own. we are getting ready to switch to a new set of missions, and we will be getting into our schedule that we will be following for a while soon. i have a few flights coming up, which is going to be nice. i am going back to night shift for a while so things are going to be a little cooler while i work.
well, i just have a little bit of time today so i have to get going again. sorry for the short post, but things are going well and i will update more when i get a chance.
hope everyone is doing well at home!

Hello Bob, nice to know you are safe. Hope everything goes good over there for you. Do they do most of the flying at night, or do they do maintenance at night because it is cooler. Are your hangers airconditioned?
Love ya Lots,
Dad

Hey Bud,

Our prayers are with from Georgia and Tennessee! It is always interesting to hear the real story about the situation there. I thought it would not be too bad but it is nice to hear it from you. The risky part certainly will be flying. I don't know if you can say but are you flying in a manner to avoid (or minimise) attacks? Are you ever allowed off the base and would you leave if you could? What are the expectations (off base) of/for the women in your group? Just a few of the things I am curious about!

I am so happy to read your blogs. Youth Praise Band started last week and boy do we miss you!!! I am glad you are safe - now stay that way. It sounds like you can stay cool - not that you aren't already cool!!! Is there anything from home you particularly miss that we can send you (We can't fit Maggie in a box so anything else). I am praying for you always. Love Teresa

Bob,
It is interesting to read your accounts of things you do. It brings back memories of the Training Squadron I was in during Nam.
You are in our prayers.
Keep the rotor blades up.

It is so wonderful to hear what is going on with you. We are good here. R. finished her first week of her senior year--I am sure it will fly by. I am starting a 9 mos. leadership training course for work, it will be interesting. We heard from a group of folks who did this last year. ONe of the things we have to do is interview 5 leaders. One person last year actually interviewed someone from Condi Rice's office and got to ride on Air Force one. That is certainly going to the top! I don't think I will be quite that ambitious. Take Care. Love--teri
